Quality Control Inspector

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect each home. Utilize check sheet and inspect each room and exterior for obvious cosmetic defects.
• Follow-up on repairs- they will be continuous. You will personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been done and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
• Coincide with the Quality Control Manager and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
• Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are within compliance of our company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strive to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with the guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Regularly use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Education and/or Experience

• A High School degree or G.E.D.
• One-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
