Quality Control Inspector

About the role

Built Brands is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure the quality, consistency, and safety of their products. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high standards across all stages of production.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and quality checks on products, materials, and processes throughout production.
• Audit processes as they are running to ensure all checks are performed and documented correctly.
• Ensure processes are running within established parameters.
• Accurately document findings, complete inspection logs, and maintain detailed quality records.
• Identify defects, deviations, or quality concerns and escalate issues promptly.
• Partner closely with Production, Sanitation, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to implement corrective actions.
• Review and interpret specifications, SOPs, and technical documents to ensure product and process compliance.
• Support a clean, safe, and compliant production environment while following all food safety, GMP, and safety protocols.
• Support the team by performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required:

• 3 years of verifiable experience inspecting food products or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to follow procedures, identify issues, and communicate effectively across teams.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

• Swing shift: Base pay is $23.00/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.
• Grave shift: Base pay is $23.00/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Pay

• Swing shift: Base pay is $23.00/hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.
• Grave shift: Base pay is $23.00/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Schedule

• Swing shift: Position is from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Grave shift: Position is from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
