Quality Control Inspector
About the role
BIOTRONIK is a leading manufacturer of cardio and endovascular implants and catheters. The California Research Center Electrophysiology, Inc (CRC EP, Inc.) in Tustin, CA develops pulsed-field cardiac ablation (PFA) technologies. The QC Inspector role is critical for ensuring planning and execution within the CRC EP catheter manufacturing group, working closely with manufacturing engineering and quality control to perform inspections, develop specifications, and support regulatory compliance. This position is based in Tustin, CA, is full‑time (minimum 40 hours per week), requires domestic travel up to 5% of the time, and is offered on an unlimited contract. Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment with regular computer use, occasional laboratory or manufacturing settings, and requires adherence to confidentiality and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) of parts according to CRC EP procedures and conduct visual, mechanical, electrical, and dimensional inspections of incoming materials.
- Support the receiving process for incoming parts and verify label accuracy against approved artwork, component specifications, and documentation.
- Work with CRC EP procurement and/or engineering to collect incoming material documents when needed.
