Quality Control Inspector
Essential Functions
- Pull and check tags on vehicles
- Verify that all parts are in stock
- Match specific parts to vehicles needing installation and place them with the appropriate vehicle
- Record parts removed from inventory into database
- Keep an accurate inventory count of all parts in stock
- Conduct annual hard count inventory of all parts
- Complete QC Inspection Form for all completed installs
- Ensure no damage happened during the installation
- Report all damage found

Work Environment
Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions. Outdoors exposed to changing and/or extreme weather conditions (for instance, rain, sun, snow, wind, humidity, etc.).
Physical Demands
Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
Position Type & Expected Hours
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.
Computer Operations
Basic personal computer skills
Work Authorization
- Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card)
- Valid Driver's License
