Primary Responsibilities
- Analyzing non-conformities
- Performing Problem-Solving (PPS): Perform root cause analyses
- Recommends and supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate nonconformance to design specifications
- Has the capability to work with the team and develop PFMEAs and control plans
- Participating and preparing governance; Problem-solving; Group facilitation; Communications management, within the Multi Functional Team and internal customer
- Project management on Quality improvement
- Apply knowledge of quality policies and practices to develop, document, and maintain quality systems and operating procedures
- Able to plan and coordinate improvements in manufacturing (e.g., hardware and tool acceptance, variability reduction and assembly operations, etc.)
- Able to compile, measure and analyze process capability data, models to perform trend analyses and risk assessments

Qualified Experience and Training
- Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred Aerospace and/or Automotive industry experience preferred
- Experience: At least 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing industry required

- Nature of Contacts: Moderate communication on a regular basis with internal and external parties at all levels
- Physical Requirements: Onsite: 100 % Vision: Daily able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Hearing: Daily able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Speaking: Daily able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): Able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Carrying: Weekly able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Lifting: Weekly able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Pushing / Pulling: Weekly able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Sitting: Daily able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Squatting / Kneeling: Weekly able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Standing: Daily able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Travel: 5% able to travel independently and at short notice. Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): Daily able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site.
