Quality CMM Programmer and Lead Inspector

About the role

All Service Plastic Molding (ASPM) is seeking a Quality CMM Programmer and Lead Inspector to join our high-volume manufacturing team. This role is critical for ensuring product quality and meeting industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Master the Code: Develop, program, and maintain advanced CMM programs for in-process inspections and tool approvals.
• Lead the Way: Manage gage approvals (Gage R&R, MSA) and mentor our Lab Inspectors to sharpen their skills.
• Innovate & Support: Collaborate directly with engineering to develop custom workholding and fixtures that ensure flawless measurement repeatability.
• Problem Solve: Investigate dimensional issues and partner with production teams to continuously enhance product quality.
• Ensure Excellence: Perform hands-on quality inspections on various plastic parts and components.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 years of CMM programming and dimensional inspection experience, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Technical Savvy: Expert knowledge of QA/QC principles and strong ability to interpret complex technical documents.
• Preference: Experience using Zeiss equipment and software.
