Responsibilities
- Programs, sets up, and operates CMM including CMM calibration and CMM operation (Hexagon - PC DMIS)
- Conducts inspections at First Article, In-Process, Incoming, and Final Inspection
- Documents inspection results through reports and logs
- Inputs data into quality database
- Executes timely and accurate disposition of non-conforming material
- Collaborates with Engineering, Sales, QC team, and plant personnel
Requirements
- Expert in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T
- Knowledge of mechanical inspection and proficiency in manual and visual inspection equipment
- Understanding of travelers and work instructions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data entry and detail-oriented skills
- Problem-solving ability with an organized and analytical approach
- Familiarity with EPICOR operating system
- Proven inspection experience in a Medical Operations environment
- Experience with a wide variety of equipment and tolerances
- CMI Certification or equivalent preferred
