Quality Assurance Supervisor-Industrial Machinery

Essential Duties

• Oversight of quality systems and ISO 9001 compliance, including audits of production processes and finished goods.
• Ensuring products meet specifications; investigation and implementation of corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Training production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Improving workflow efficiency by reducing rework, resolving bottlenecks, and supporting production timelines.
• Monitoring performance metrics to drive quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.
• Generating reports and collaborating with engineering, production, and leadership to support operational and ESG initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing.
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• 3+ years of experience with inspections, audits, or root cause analysis.
• 3+ years of experience supporting production or process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• 3+ years of experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods.
• 3+ years of experience with safety and environmental compliance.
• 3+ years of experience using ERP systems and data analysis tools.
• Professional certification (e.g., CQE, CQA).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position and move through a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with noise exposure.

Pay

Salaries/Rates will vary and may be above or below this rate commensurate with several factors including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
