Contributions to the Team
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, your responsibilities include:
- Adhere to General Work Requirements
- Lead, direct, and coach aircraft inspectors in maintenance activities
- Assign inspectors based on skill, experience, and qualification
- Provide training and certification for non-destructive testing personnel
- Oversee audits of aircraft records and logs
- Assure compliance with FARs and FAA airworthiness directives
- Implement recommendations for maintenance and technical operations manuals
- Act as acting QA Manager during absence of QA Manager
- Manage customer relationships with FAA and other regulatory agencies
What We Look For
To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A&P certification
- 6+ years of experience in quality assurance within aerospace industry, including 2 years of supervisory or lead experience
- Working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or related field (preferred)
- Inspection Authorization (AI) Certificate (preferred)
- Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with customers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams
- Computer skills including SAP, Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Office software
- Leadership to train employees in specialized duties
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
