Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support product quality activities near Lyndhurst, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to inspection, documentation, inventory accuracy, and testing efforts while working closely with the quality team. The role is well suited for someone who is organized, hands-on, and comfortable assisting with both administrative and operational quality tasks. Responsibilities:• Support inventory movements and help maintain accurate stock records through routine cycle count activities.• Partner with quality team members during early-stage production approvals by preparing records and reviewing merchandise details.• Help evaluate incoming components and finished products using established quality review procedures and internal analysis methods.• Assist with scanning diamonds in production items in accordance with defined quality and tracking processes.• Prepare merchandise for handling and distribution by tagging and bagging items when needed.• Create, organize, and update quality documentation to ensure records remain complete and accessible.• Participate in product testing activities as assigned to help confirm compliance with quality standards.• Provide day-to-day support across the team and contribute wherever additional assistance is required. • Experience in quality assurance or quality support within a product-based environment. • Ability to assist with documentation, recordkeeping, and administrative tasks with strong attention to detail. • Familiarity with inventory processes, including stock transactions and cycle counting. • Comfortable following inspection and testing procedures in a hands-on setting. • Ability to work collaboratively with inspectors, analysts, and cross-functional team members. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple routine tasks accurately. • Willingness to learn specialized evaluation and scanning processes through on-the-job training.
