What is Quality Assurance (QA)?
Quality Assurance is the process of ensuring that a product meets specific quality standards before it is delivered to customers. At Steelhead, QA means making sure software updates, bug fixes, and new features are reliable, functional, and error-free before they are released to users. This process helps maintain the integrity and performance of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Test software changes, including bug fixes and new feature implementations
- Collaborate with developers to ensure code quality and functionality
- Verify that issues have been resolved and that no new problems have been introduced (regression testing)
- Communicate testing results, concerns, and progress clearly and consistently
- Engage in continuous learning as the product evolves and grows in complexity
Schedule
Full-Time: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Pay
$20/hr
Requirements
- No prior QA experience required
- Strong attention to detail is important
