Quality Assurance - Specialist

About the role

Responsible for minimizing supplier quality issues through root cause analysis, implementing temporary and permanent corrective actions, and ensuring minimal impact on production lines while maintaining high product quality. Collaborates regionally with suppliers to promote continuous improvement of manufacturing characteristics and supports problem resolution between the organization and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Approve part/process changes for design and non-design modifications.
• Validate supplier root cause analyses, develop and implement effective countermeasures.
• Analyze data to prioritize issues and drive supplier improvements.
• Lead problem-solving investigations and coordinate countermeasure activities.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments regarding solutions.
• Build technical knowledge aligned with company standards and departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 6 years without degree).
• 0-6 years of relevant experience; preferred experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in quality assurance, blueprint reading, part measurement, Catia/3D, MS Office.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Working Conditions

Open office environment with walking, part sorting, limited travel, and potential overtime.
