Quality Assurance - Specialist

About the role

Responsible for minimizing supplier quality issues through root cause analysis, implementing temporary and permanent solutions to ensure product quality and minimal line impact. Collaborates with suppliers regionally to drive continuous improvement of manufacturing characteristics and supports problem resolution between the organization and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Approve part/process changes for design and non-design modifications
• Validate supplier root cause analyses and develop effective countermeasures
• Analyze data, prioritize impactful issues, and lead supplier improvement activities
• Manage problem-solving investigations and coordinate countermeasure implementation
• Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding solutions
• Enhance technical knowledge and understanding of quality processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 0-6 years of relevant experience, with preference for those with manufacturing or co-op background
• Proficiency in quality assurance, blueprint reading, part measurement, Catia/3D, MS Office
• Strong negotiation and communication skills

Working Conditions

Open office environment with walking, parts sorting, limited travel, and potential overtime (~4 hours/week).
