Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, allergen control, sanitation, and BRC/SQF compliance.
• Maintain audit readiness and lead internal, customer, and third-party audits.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve quality systems and performance.
• Monitor quality metrics and communicate trends and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Support new product launches, material qualifications, process validations, and production startups.
• Establish quality standards for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Lead, coach, and develop the quality team while fostering a culture of food safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier quality programs and support supplier/co-packer qualifications.
• Investigate customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as a key contact for quality-related customer inquiries and issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Packaging Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience leading quality and food safety programs within a food, beverage, packaging, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, food safety regulations, audit management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.

Pay

Salary range: USD100,000 - USD110,000 per year
