Quality Assurance Manager
About the role
Job Summary & Responsibilities: The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, along with the Quality Control team, is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of systems supporting quality, operational, and commercial initiatives. This includes document management, data integration, quality metrics, training, and internal assessments. The QA Manager will provide cross functional support to the business and will be the primary contact for system implementations and maintenance of POET's Quality Management System (QMS).
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or greater in relevant field, sciences preferred. 5 or more years of people, project, or program management experience. 5 years’ experience with Quality programs, certification structures, system and program deployments, and FDA regulated environments. Experience in an operating plant environment such as grain processing, food processing, or chemical processing is preferred.
Work Environment
The work environment at POET is dynamic. You should expect a balance between time spent in the office and at the bioprocessing facility, which may include some physical labor helping your team members.

Schedule
Some travel will be part of the norm for this position to visit the bioprocessing facilities, for meetings, and site visits. At times overnight travel may be required.
