About the role

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of food products in the Deli Kitchen at Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting food products for quality and compliance with company standards
• Ensuring all food handling procedures are followed
• Reporting any issues or concerns to management immediately
• Participating in training programs to maintain certification and knowledge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a food service or inspection role
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Food safety protocols
• Basic computer skills
• First aid/CPR certification (optional but preferred)
