Responsibilities
- Inspect and document findings for incoming, in-process and final inspection parts.
- Identifies and documents any mistakes or problems associated with the items being inspected.
- Maintains accurate records of all items inspected.
- SUBMIT REPORTS TO THE QUALITY MANAGER REGARDING QUALITY AND ITEMS INSPECTED.
- Utilizes basic test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, CMM, Keyence, Rockwell Testers, and surface plate.
- Always stays on task with assigned duties.
- Adheres to all employment policies/safety policies/practices required by law/established by Company.
- Wears all necessary Personal Protective Equipment as directed by the Company at all times.
- Maintains and keeps workstation and department area clean.
- Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately.
- Immediately reports any maintenance and/or safety issues to supervisor.
- Maintains respect, courtesy, a positive attitude and professionalism towards all co-workers and the Company.
Qualifications & Knowledge
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Proficient with standard measurement tools, height stands, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators and Quality Inspection methodologies.
- Keyence IM system (preferred)
- Understanding and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
- Experience in reading Engineering drawings
- Interact effectively with a variety of people
- General mechanical ability is required
- Possess sound problem-solving skills to help facilitate solutions to problems identified during the inspection process
- Proficient in using Excel, Word and Outlook
- Able to do a full layout of dimensional features
- Experience with ERP system use, preferred
- Able to follow directions and prioritize accordingly
