Principal Responsibilities

  • Aiding the Program Director in the daily operations of quality assurance services provided to agency program teams, including internal reviews, monthly reporting, monthly and quarterly committee meetings, and other activities as assigned.
  • Participating and assisting in the development of ongoing staff training, including incident report management, case management, and electronic record keeping.
  • Supporting the Program Director in maintaining ongoing systems for the collection and evaluation of data and program demographics.
  • Processing incident reports.
  • Monitoring program performance targets, outcomes, and trends.
  • Serving as a resource for special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Two years of experience in supervision.
  • Demonstrate ability in written and verbal communication.
  • Training, audit, and evaluation data collection and incident management skills.

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the overall support of programs as defined by the Volunteers of America program model and funding source standards. This position is based at Paul Hotel Family Shelter, an emergency family shelter located in Manhattan for families experiencing homelessness.

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience in supervision. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate strong abilities in written and verbal communication, as well as training, audit, and evaluation data collection and incident management skills.

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
