Job Overview
Quality Assurance supports daily operations by ensuring quality standards are met and improving the manufacturing process through waste removal and process improvements.
A Day In The Life
- Perform in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling.
- Coincide process improvement activities with work orders and draw changes with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations as needed.
- Assist or coordinate auditor efforts in other areas as required.
- Keep management informed of progress and obstacles affecting the achievement of company objectives.
- Understand plant policies and environments related to employee safety, equipment operation, material handling, and more.
- Maintain awareness of QA and production performance as outlined in foundry control plans.
What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
- A High School Diploma or Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Prior Quality Assurance auditing experience (required)
- Passing HPS QA Test (required)
- Experience with SAP systems (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
