Quality Assurance

About the Role

The Process Quality Assurance position ensures all boats meet quality standards by overseeing daily performance of electrical functions, fit and finish accuracy, and identifying imperfections, scratches, and fractures in every boat reaching the final finish department of the production line.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety procedures are adhered to and required personal protective equipment is worn by all subordinates.
• Ensures quality standards are met on each boat entering the final finish process with no imperfections left uncorrected.
• Ensures all required paperwork is correct and completed in a timely manner.
• Monitors associates’ hours and eliminates excess or needless overtime.
• Maintains cleanliness and housekeeping requirements in all areas.
• Oversees the use, upkeep, return, and placement of all tools provided.
• Oversees training of new associates using the “Buddy system” and other training tools as necessary.
• Manages materials and supplies to maximize use and reduce waste.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (minimum degree required).
