About the role
The Quality Analyst will support multiple programs across CCA, Electro/Mechanical Assembly, Cable/Harness, and Supplier Quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and audits on components and assemblies.
- Identify and document nonconformances, drive root cause analysis.
- Capture and implement corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and internal teams.
- Support CCA, Electro/Mechanical Assembly, Cable/Harness, and Supplier Quality initiatives.
- Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Effective communication with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
- Willingness/ability to travel to support new training requirements and/or program issues/needs as they arise.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
- Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
- Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment.
- Circuit Card Assembly, Electro-Mechanical, Cable/Harness, or Fabrication experience.
- Experience programing and/or operating inspection equipment such as X-ray, CMM, etc.
- Experience with SAP, Apriso or other ERP or MES systems.
- FAI experience.
- IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B.
- Experience with or certification in lean manufacturing/Lean Six Sigma.
- Strong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
- Audit, Process Line Verification and/or Hardware Quality Assessment experience.
