About the role
The Quality Engineer for the Circuit Card Quality Team is responsible for driving quality initiatives across the circuit card product line. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality evaluation systems, modifying and improving existing control processes, maintaining comprehensive quality documentation, conducting audits to ensure product excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline with 2 years of professional experience, a related Master’s degree, or equivalent combined education/experience.
- Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
- Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues/needs as they arise.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
- Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
- Ability to obtain a clearance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities.
- Leverage Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate).
- SAP Application Experience.
- IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.
- First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience.
- Special Process Engineering Experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
- Strong communication (both oral and written) will be necessary to support the assignment.
Skills
