Quality Analyst

About the role

An entry-level / Early-career role ideal for a recent college graduate or someone with 0–2 years of professional experience. No prior quality or compliance experience required; we'll train the technical fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates factory portfolio data and executes onboarding processes.
• Helps coordinate factory audits and tracks CAPA (corrective action) closure.
• Analyzes return rates, customer complaints, and defect trends to identify and escalate risks.
• Supports investigation and resolution of product quality issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Maintains documentation for quality programs to support compliance with CPSC and other regulations.
• Helps ensure quality and compliance standards are met through cross-functional partnership.
• Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality processes and data visibility.
• Assists in advising quality and testing requirements based on applicable standards and product specifications.
• Supports the development of quality standards for new product categories.
• Applies critical thinking to solve problems in ambiguous situations.
• Collaborates with stakeholders across multiple channels (phone, email, messaging platforms, and in person) as needed.
• Assists with reporting and other compliance initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in intermediate analytics
• Intermediate Excel skills and a willingness to build advanced skills over time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to a group.
• Self-motivated with good time-management and prioritization skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
• Able to meet deadlines and build timelines.
