About the role
Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Mental Health Qualified Professional to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and medication assisted treatment team to provide support to adults and youths in Kinston, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic assessments, develop with the client treatment goal and person centered plans, treatment, after-care, and referral services to adults/children in need of outpatient treatment.
- Provide stabilization and treatment services to mental health and substance abusing clients.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field
- Full or provisional Substance Use licensure or certification: LCASA, CADC or AP/CPSS
- Dual licensure preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment modalities

Pay
Competitive salary: $18.00 – $24.00 / Hour
Schedule
Consistent schedule of Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm
