Qualified Professional Mental Health - Substance Use

About the role

Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health, and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Mental Health Qualified Professional to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and medication assisted treatment team to provide support to adults and youths in Kinston, NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic assessments, develop with the client treatment goals and person-centered plans, treatment, after-care, and referral services to adults/children in need of outpatient treatment.
• Provide stabilization and treatment services to mental health and substance abusing clients.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required.
• Full or provisional Substance Use licensure or certification: LCASA, CADC, or AP/CPSS.
• Dual licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technical skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation for work-related travel.

• Education: A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required.

• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
