About the role
The role of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of QMS and EHS standards within a company. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, conducting audits, and providing guidance on best practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of QMS and EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with QMS and EHS standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on QMS and EHS best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to QMS and EHS programs.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and provide necessary support to maintain compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Quality Management, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in QMS and EHS management.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in implementing ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 standards.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Experience in hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
