QC Tech
Responsibilities
- Assist quality techs with inspections and troubleshooting PDI and DOT inspections
- Assist with Chassis Receiving, Chassis Recall, and Offsite Transportation
- Assist production techs as needed
- Assist warehouse in scrape identification/Red tag
- Drive equipment for inspections
- Clean equipment for quality inspections
- Perform general maintenance
- Operate a forklift safely
- Inspect Equipment on delivery
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Use and provide proper care of PPE
- Read and interpret schematics (blueprints)
- Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment
- Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell)
- Perform rework as required
- Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives
- Cross-train in other work areas to support production needs
- Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, and practices
- Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment
- Maintain daily time records and document all standard work
- Rotate responsibilities as needed
- Read and interpret work orders
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Good Driving Record
- Excellent Attention to Details
- Self-Motivated
- Dependable
- Experience with maintenance and general cleaning (a plus)
- Able to work and coordinate with multiple departments
- Forklift experience

Pay
Pay range: $20.55 to $21.69. We are committed to fair and competitive pay for all associates based on their experience, education, and qualifications. Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
Schedule
Day shift: Four ten-hour days (Monday-Thursday). Overtime on Fridays as needed.
