QC Tech

Responsibilities

• Assist quality techs with inspections and troubleshooting PDI and DOT inspections
• Assist with Chassis Receiving, Chassis Recall, and Offsite Transportation
• Assist production techs as needed
• Assist warehouse in scrape identification/Red tag
• Drive equipment for inspections
• Clean equipment for quality inspections
• Perform general maintenance
• Operate a forklift safely
• Inspect Equipment on delivery
• Perform other tasks as assigned
• Use and provide proper care of PPE
• Read and interpret schematics (blueprints)
• Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment
• Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell)
• Perform rework as required
• Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives
• Cross-train in other work areas to support production needs
• Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, and practices
• Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment
• Maintain daily time records and document all standard work
• Rotate responsibilities as needed
• Read and interpret work orders

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Good Driving Record
• Excellent Attention to Details
• Self-Motivated
• Dependable
• Experience with maintenance and general cleaning (a plus)
• Able to work and coordinate with multiple departments
• Forklift experience

Pay

Pay range: $20.55 to $21.69. We are committed to fair and competitive pay for all associates based on their experience, education, and qualifications. Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.

Schedule

Day shift: Four ten-hour days (Monday-Thursday). Overtime on Fridays as needed.
