About the Role
The Quality Assurance & Process Analyst at WBL plays a pivotal role in optimizing our operational workflows and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our software and business processes. This contract/consultant position requires a detail-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between quality assurance, business requirements analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Working hours are typically from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Candidates must possess excellent English language skills, both spoken and written, and submit their CVs in English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, business analysis, or process improvement
- Proven experience in software testing, requirements analysis, or business process analysis
- Experience working within cross-functional teams involving multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies
- Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborate with development, business, and operations teams to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies
- Assess current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
- Support ongoing process analysis and documentation efforts, including process mapping and gap analysis
- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and project planning sessions
- Monitor key quality metrics such as defect detection rate, defect escape rate, and test coverage
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices and procedures
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices
