Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Complete various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and compatibility testing.
- Aid in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Maintain clear and structured test documentation.
- Identify, document, and prioritize issues found during testing.
- Ensure defects are logged with reproducible steps, evidence, and impact assessments.
- Track the defect lifecycle and collaborate with developers and project teams.
- Provide feedback on test progress, results, and risks.
- Support root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
- Work with developers, UX designers, technical leads, and project managers to define quality expectations and testing priorities.
- Communicate complex technical and quality-related issues to all partners.
- Contribute to projects aimed at improving QA processes, efficiency, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases and scenarios.
- Stay updated on latest technologies and industry best practices in QA, accessibility, and automation.
- Support accessibility and compliance testing efforts aligned with WCAG.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on QA experience in testing software applications.
- Experience testing across multiple platforms, including web, mobile web, and native mobile applications.
- Experience with QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the SDLC.
- Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools, web service validation, and log inspection methods.
- Nice to have: ISTQB or equivalent QA certification (passed).
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#), scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby), and CMSs like AEM or Sitecore.
- Proficiency in database queries, testing, and API/web service testing.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and testing tools.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (Selenium WebDriver, Appium).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

The annual salary range for this position is ($59,000--$96,025). Placement within the range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
Schedule
Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles).
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is ($59,000--$96,025). Placement within the range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
