QA Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

A leading enterprise healthcare client is undertaking a significant migration project, moving from Avaya to AWS Connect phone software. This role sits within a large, agile QA team and involves close, cross-functional interaction with development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases for the AWS Connect phone software migration.
• Perform automation testing, including scripting and analysis of bugs.
• Conduct data mapping and estimate work effort for IVR requirements.
• Identify IVR conditions for test data requests and prepare smoke testing data.
• Validate test data using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• Document defects and test execution in Jira, Confluence, and Qtest/Quality Center.

Requirements

• Experience with both Avaya and AWS Connect systems.
• Strong understanding of IVR systems and call centre workflows.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases.
• Experience with automation testing and bug analysis.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Bachelor's degree.
