About the role
This role is part of Cognizant’s IoT Practice, which focuses on engineering industry-aligned, IoT-enabled products designed to connect people with processes and enhance user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and API tests.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure product quality.
- Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of QA or software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and API testing.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with Git, Jira, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and automation best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Mobile automation using Appium.
- Knowledge of Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and performance testing tools.
- Experience testing microservices and cloud-native applications.
