PV Solar Panel Installer

About the role

We are looking for a full-time, long-term career-minded PV Installer to join our team. PV Installation experience is not required, this is an apprenticeship program where we will teach you everything you need to know!

Responsibilities

• Work with other crew members, under a crew leader, to safely install solar arrays on residential and commercial buildings in the metro Atlanta area.
• Install ground mount systems and conduct trenching and roof repair.
• Avoid damage to a customer's property by assessing the safest way to perform the installation.
• Lay out and install the racking system and panels.
• Pack up all tools and equipment and clear the site of debris at the end of the day.
• Interact with customers to explain the installation process effectively.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in roofing or construction preferred
• Willingness to learn and a "can-do" attitude
• Enjoy working outdoors and not afraid of heights
• Ability to get to work on time and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, travel up and down a ladder, work on a roof at height, drive a company vehicle, and stand for long periods.

Pay

Pay starts at $18.50/hr with previous experience, pay can be up to $22/hr.

Schedule

Typically, work is Monday through Friday, during daytime hours.
