PV Solar Installer

About the role

Install, maintain, and repair photovoltaic solar systems to generate electricity from sunlight.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels on rooftops and other structures
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing solar installations
• Perform electrical work including wiring and inspections
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in electrical work or related field preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solar panel installation techniques
• Understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay

$25-$30 per hour based on experience
