PV Solar Installer

About the role

Install, maintain, and repair photovoltaic solar systems. Perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission PV solar systems
• Perform routine maintenance on installed systems
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in electrical work or related field preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of solar technology and installation practices

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina and flexibility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend work as needed.
