About the role

SALARY PUTNAM VOCATIONAL ACADEMY (FALL) STEP 1 STEP 2 STEP 3 VOLLEYBALL, ASSISTANT COACH (G)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee sport and travel program.
  • Select team for travel season.
  • Develop daily practice schedule.
  • Supervise students at all times.
  • Check on eligibility of all athletes.
  • Check attendance daily.
  • Establish rules and expectations for athletes.
  • Supervise students to away games on bus.
  • Issue equipment and collect it at the end of the season.
  • Secure building permits.
  • Be aware of MSSADA Rules and Regulations.
  • CPR Training and completion of the “Concussion in Sports” course (required).

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of sport or activity.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to successfully instruct and encourage athletes.
  • CPR/First Aid and Coaches Education and Concussion certified are requirements for all coaching candidates.

Benefits

Salary based on present collective bargaining agreement.
