Upper School and Middle School Fall Coaches

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is accepting applications for multiple coaching positions for the Fall 2026 season.

About the Role

The successful candidates will be coaches who develop scholar-athletes while demonstrating strong character, professionalism, relational skills, and serving as positive role models. The fall season begins in August and runs through November.

Responsibilities

• Organizes tryouts and all practices.
• Helps players understand the program objectives.
• Communicates clear expectations to players and parents.
• Represents the school in a manner that exhibits and promotes SCH's mission.
• Develops positive, productive relationships with the entire SCH community.
• Keeps accurate attendance records.
• Keeps the Athletic Director informed of problems and/or concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or designee.

Requirements

• For Upper School coaching positions, varsity high school playing experience is required; college playing experience preferred.
• Prior coaching experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must serve as a positive role model, mentor, and teacher of the sport.
• Must provide instruction to instill a strong work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, leadership, and self-confidence in players.
• Must be able to engage with a diverse array of contacts.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Must be available for all practices and competitions during the coaching season.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
