Pursuits & Directories Business Development & Marketing Coordinator - Global
Summary
As a member of the Business Development’s Pursuit team, the Pursuits & Directories Coordinator – Global, supports the MBD team in creating compelling deliverables to win work. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the pitch and proposal response lifecycle
- Developing and updating pitch and proposal drafts
- Identifying win themes and tailoring pitches to competitors
- Maintaining and updating standard materials
- Collaborating on directory submissions
Responsibilities
Supports the team throughout the pitch and proposal response lifecycle, including:
- Tracking opportunities
- Scheduling kick-off calls with lawyers and colleagues
- Gathering and drafting relevant content
- Ensuring high-quality, error-free proposals are submitted
Creates initial pitch and proposal drafts, updates based on attorney and colleague input, and aligns with best practices.
Participates in discussions to identify win themes and leverage client research to differentiate DLA Piper.
Aids in follow-up on opportunities to determine win/loss status, supports maintenance of standard materials, and utilizes AI to improve processes and content creation.
Drafts, edits, formats, and reviews proposal documents, prepares unique content and graphics, and shares ideas for enhancing proposal and presentation products.
Works with groups to ensure experience standard content is accurate and updated, prepares tailored and formatted experience lists, and coordinates on initial drafts of Chambers and Legal 500 directory submissions.

Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, or related discipline
Minimum Years Of Experience
- 2 years’ project/production experience in a law firm or professional services environment

Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.

Non-exempt positions will be paid on an hourly basis and paid overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
