About the role
We are seeking a Pursuit Manager to join our diverse team focusing on the US Federal market, supporting both DoD and Civilian Agency Clients. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in marketing, communications, positioning on major pursuits and proposal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Strategically lead pursuit processes and teams, representing Stantec with strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with Growth Leaders, Sectors Leaders, Account Managers, Project Managers, and Strategic Pursuit teams to develop distinctive value propositions and win themes.
- Develop and implement pursuit-specific capture plans, including SWOT analysis, and conduct preliminary go/no go and strategy reviews.
- Lead pursuit team in pre-RFP activities, such as client and competitor research, and manage proposal execution from start to finish.
- Create and modify materials to effectively communicate Stantec's services, capabilities, and market-specific messages.
- Support account managers and sector leaders in developing pursuit-specific client engagement strategies and messaging.
- Ensure pursuit strategies and materials align with corporate brand standards and messaging.
- Monitor pursuit performance, track win/loss outcomes, and apply insights to improve future pursuit strategies.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of US Government acquisition methods and proposals, including FAR Part 15, Type C, DB MILCON, SF330, and other federal proposals.
- Proven experience developing responses to RFQs and RFPs, with a minimum of 8-10 years of SF330 experience.
- Exceptional prioritization skills, ability to balance conflicting priorities, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency in web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Co-Pilot, and InDesign.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a senior proposal or business development role in the Architecture/Engineering/Consulting industry.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of SF330 experience.
Skills
- Marketing and business development best practices.

- Experience with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in InDesign and Adobe Acrobat.

Pay
$131,500.00 - $197,200.00 Annually
