Pursuit Manager

About the role

As the Pursuit Manager, you will be responsible for managing the preparation, assembly, review, and submission of responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs). The scope of proposals can range from small to medium-sized projects with low to medium-risk profiles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the proposal process in accordance with governance guidelines.
• Interface with and support the sales manager, project director, and project manager to develop the proposal execution strategy, assemble the proposal response team, and create the project execution plan and value proposition/win strategies.
• Ensure that conceptual design and business enablement functional teams (such as estimating, project controls, construction, procurement, subcontracting, and LIFTT) meet their deliverables according to the proposal development schedule.
• Monitor and manage pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets.
• Participate in cost reviews and facilitate risk determination and mitigation discussions, leading to leadership approvals.
• Assist in negotiations as required. Facilitate the transition of proposal basis information to the project execution team upon contract signature.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related technical project execution field.
• 4+ years of engineering, project execution, or technical pursuit management experience.

Pay

The annual compensation range for this role is $126,264 - $189,384, depending on the location and office within each state.

Schedule

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
