This position manages the flow of supplies and specialty products across multiple locations to ensure products are available for patient care in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Manages the purchase order process, receiving, and replenishment of all clinical supplies for multiple clinics.
- Continually monitors and manages inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Identifies, resolves, and communicates product availability issues to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinates inventory management activities.
- Assists with value analysis and product trials as requested.
- Oversees and coordinates physical inventory process at designated sites.
- Manages par levels and maintains accuracy within the inventory system.
- Assists with new user setup, training, and staff questions regarding MotionMD.
- Monitors product expiration dates.
- Assists with new clinic/room setup; stocking of exam rooms/procedure rooms.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in materials management related position such as purchasing, inventory management, or hospital supply chain.
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines.
- Ability to comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws).
- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines.
- Prioritize workload effectively.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
- Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Working Conditions
- Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 or more hours per day).
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment.
- Ability to lift and carry office supplies or files weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
- Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, based in Plymouth.
