Responsibilities

  • Purchasing materials, supplies, and parts needed for daily operations.
  • Communicating with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, deliveries, and issues.
  • Tracking purchase orders and following up to ensure materials arrive on time.
  • Receiving shipments, verifying accuracy, and resolving shortages or damaged items.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and ERP system data.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and helping prevent stock shortages.
  • Supporting inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Organizing warehouse inventory and storage locations.
  • Assisting with ERP cleanup, inventory optimization, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Purchasing, inventory, or inventory control experience.
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with vendors, coworkers, and leadership.
  • Able to problem-solve, manage priorities, and jump in where needed.
  • Warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, parts, service, vendor management, receiving, or forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with purchasing, inventory management, ERP systems, or warehouse operations.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and handle a variety of tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
