Responsibilities
- Purchasing materials, supplies, and parts needed for daily operations.
- Communicating with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, deliveries, and issues.
- Tracking purchase orders and following up to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Receiving shipments, verifying accuracy, and resolving shortages or damaged items.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and ERP system data.
- Monitoring inventory levels and helping prevent stock shortages.
- Supporting inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Organizing warehouse inventory and storage locations.
- Assisting with ERP cleanup, inventory optimization, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Purchasing, inventory, or inventory control experience.
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through skills.
- Comfortable communicating with vendors, coworkers, and leadership.
- Able to problem-solve, manage priorities, and jump in where needed.
- Warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, parts, service, vendor management, receiving, or forklift experience is a plus.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with purchasing, inventory management, ERP systems, or warehouse operations.
- Ability to wear multiple hats and handle a variety of tasks.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
