About the role
We have an exciting Purchasing Coordinator opportunity in our Guymon, OK, processing facility. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the scheduling team.
Responsibilities
- Create & issue purchase orders in a timely fashion to ensure proper coding for AP processing.
- Maintain system data integrity, and ensure entries follow defined nomenclature to support competitive sourcing events.
- Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to maintain appropriate stock levels and support uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate and assist warehouse, parts room & PPE departments with order picking, material handling, inventory reconciliation, and scheduled cycle counts.
- Run routine reports to ensure PO’s, Receipts, and GRNI statues are accurate.
- Maintain required documentation for food safety compliance.
- Communicates effectively and collaborates with department leadership and vendors to ensure the position provides a high level of customer service and accountability.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred or two years of procurement experience, including mathematics and ability to interpret varying units of measure.
- One to two years of administrative, clerical, purchasing support, inventory control, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, or materials management in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills, or similar applications, and ERP system experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required, bi-lingual a plus.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually at a level that requires the OSHA required hearing protection.
- Required personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
