Purchasing Analyst

About the role

NIKE, Inc. seeks a Purchasing Analyst for a 6‑month contract in Beaverton, OR. The role supports cross‑functional partners, helps reduce supply costs, ensures on‑time product delivery, and upholds world‑class order‑management practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bi‑monthly purchase order execution and support planning buy requests.
• Manage purchase order change requests from twelve different teams.
• Create supply during buy weeks and organize email communications for timely responses.
• Provide analysis to identify process improvements and share best practices with teammates.
• Present data and results in team and cross‑functional meetings.
• Interact with MSC, GSP, Trading Company, DEC/PMO, COE, Trade and Transportation, PASE, Finance, Planning, Material Master Governance, Customer Master Data, Compliance, and Merch Ops.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, cross‑workbook management) for data mining, reporting, and task automation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally across teams and management levels.
• Embrace ambiguity, adapt to evolving practices, and ask questions or seek help when needed.
• Share changes and best practices to drive team evolution.

Requirements

• Strong background in supply chain management and planning.
• Hands‑on real‑life experience with SAP S4 HANA Purchase Order Management.
• Advanced Excel data management skills.

Schedule

Hybrid onsite schedule: Monday through Thursday.
