As a member of the Purchasing team, you will receive and distribute products throughout the Food and Beverage department. Responsibilities
- Receives all food deliveries according to “Receiving Worksheets” provided by buyers, including sorting of pallets for proper receipt, storage, and distribution
- Ensures accuracy of products received against products ordered via “Receiving Worksheets”
- Ensures quality standards are in place at point of receiving for produce, meats, poultry, seafood, dairy products, and bakery/pastry items
- Palletize, wrap, and label all goods for delivery to their proper outlet
- Completes receiver short sheet and notes deviations in quality, quantity, or accountability
- Drives vehicles in a professional and courteous manner
- Works in a prompt and timely manner to ensure timely deliveries of perishable goods
- Safely and correctly operates lift gate on delivery vehicles
- Transfers all palletized goods in staging area by pallet jack (manual or electric) to box truck for delivery
- Conducts thorough pre-trip safety inspection of assigned vehicle(s)
- Conducts effective communication with other team members via radios and cell phone
- Delivers all received goods to their proper outlet and has MOD/Supervisor sign for receipt
- Reports any accidents or damage to a vehicle to Security
- Upholds and abides by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Valid Driver’s License required; must be 18 years or older to drive a Broadmoor vehicle
- Experience operating a forklift a plus
- Flexibility in schedule including working early mornings and weekends
- Occasional heavy lifting of 50 lbs. (occasional lifting up to 100 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills

Pay rate: $18.00 per hour.
