About the Role

Provides direct patient care on a specialized pulmonary progressive care unit, focusing on acute conditions such as lung transplants, pulmonary hypertension, and ventilator support. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a pulmonary progressive care setting.
• Promote patient and family-centered care while educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Participate in safety initiatives and document care plans.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment requiring critical nursing skills.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Less than two years of experience (preferred).
