About the Role
Provides direct patient care on a specialized pulmonary progressive care unit, focusing on acute conditions such as lung transplants, pulmonary hypertension, and ventilator support. Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a pulmonary progressive care setting.
- Promote patient and family-centered care while educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
- Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
- Participate in safety initiatives and document care plans.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment requiring critical nursing skills.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (required).
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Less than two years of experience (preferred).
