About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected Pulmonary and Critical Care practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established and growing team of 5 Pulmonologists/Intensivists and 5 APPs, with expansion to support St. Peter in Wichita.

  • Call structure: 1:5
  • Practice setting: Mix of inpatient critical care and outpatient pulmonary medicine
  • Opportunity to participate in the continued growth and development of an expanding Pulmonary and Critical Care service
  • Multidisciplinary collaboration with experienced APPs, nursing, respiratory therapy, and specialists across the health system
  • Opportunity for academic involvement and clinical teaching through relationships with medical education programs

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of complex pulmonary and critical care conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Provide comprehensive critical care services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care to medically complex patients
  • Participate in procedures and diagnostic services within the scope of the practice and physician training

Requirements

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
  • Fellowship training in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine (preferred)
