About the role

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking physicians board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary and/or critical care medicine. Opportunities are available for candidates board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Part of an integrated system of 22 hospitals, including two in Columbus and a cancer center serving over 14 counties.
• Work at the Midtown Campus, a 583-bed hospital with a Level 2 Trauma Center and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Staff the Northside Campus, a 100-bed hospital with a newly renovated Emergency and Trauma Center and a 12,000 square foot Emergency Department.
• Participate in physician-led programs and initiatives, such as the Hospitalist program and the Family Medicine Residency Program.
• Support evidence-based practices and provide patient-centered care.

Requirements

• MD or DO Medical Degree
• Board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
• Residency and Fellowship trained

Qualifications

• Experience in pulmonary and/or critical care medicine
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient care
• Ability to work in a physician-led community

Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive care
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and innovative care models
