About the role
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking physicians board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary and/or critical care medicine. Opportunities are available for candidates board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary and critical care.
Responsibilities
- Part of an integrated system of 22 hospitals, including two in Columbus and a cancer center serving over 14 counties.
- Work at the Midtown Campus, a 583-bed hospital with a Level 2 Trauma Center and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Staff the Northside Campus, a 100-bed hospital with a newly renovated Emergency and Trauma Center and a 12,000 square foot Emergency Department.
- Participate in physician-led programs and initiatives, such as the Hospitalist program and the Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Support evidence-based practices and provide patient-centered care.
Requirements
- MD or DO Medical Degree
- Board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
- Residency and Fellowship trained
Qualifications
- Experience in pulmonary and/or critical care medicine
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient care
- Ability to work in a physician-led community
Skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive care
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and innovative care models
