About the role

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is seeking a vascular surgeon to join their growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and specialty care to the community spanning 45 counties in Middle Tennessee.
• Work collaboratively with a clinical team including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants to deliver seamless care.
• Participate in the ongoing expansion and renovation projects of the hospital.
• Contribute to the training of medical residents through partnerships with UTHSC.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Qualifications

• Experience in vascular surgery is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
