Pulmonary Crit/Care Spec. - South Bay (& Tele-ICU in Los Angeles)

About the role

The role involves providing 50% outpatient and inpatient consultation services for pulmonary critical care at the South Bay location, and 50% overnight tele-critical care in Los Angeles, working 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care for patients with complex pulmonary conditions
• Conduct consultations and manage inpatient cases in the South Bay clinic
• Oversee and support tele-critical care services in Los Angeles
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonary Disease or Critical Care Medicine
• Experience in pulmonary critical care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in California
• Completion of an accredited residency program in internal medicine and pulmonary/critical care medicine

$468,975.00 - $514,671.00 annually

Schedule

12-hour shifts, rotating between South Bay and Los Angeles locations.
