About the Opportunity
The Publisher Operations Specialist is responsible for managing day-to-day technical operations and integrations related to publisher tag management and account support. This role ensures smooth coordination between technical and cross-functional teams, serving as a key resource for internal stakeholders and publishing partners. The position offers the opportunity to gain deep expertise in publisher products while contributing to the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Own creation, configuration, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of publisher tags across multiple digital ad formats
- Manage publisher accounts by overseeing integrations, onboarding, and technical support
- Act as a technical liaison for client success teams and publisher partners, escalating complex issues appropriately
- Coordinate cross-functional projects involving Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams
- Maintain awareness of product updates and assess their impact on publisher workflows
- Investigate data quality and measurability issues collaboratively
- Document processes and identify improvements to publisher operations
- Communicate updates and resolutions clearly to relevant teams
Requirements
- 0-2 years of relevant experience through internships, coursework, projects, or professional roles
- Technical or analytical background or strong interest in learning technical systems
- Interest in digital advertising, media, ad tech, or data-driven products
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn ad-serving concepts and tools like Google Ad Manager, VAST, and ad tags
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Effective collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical colleagues
- Proactive attitude with willingness to take on increasing responsibility
- Comfort with or interest in data and analytics tools such as Looker and SQL
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
Compensation includes base salary, performance-based bonus, and equity; final package depends on experience, level, and location.
